Hello to all Members. May I start by saying Happy new year to everyone. The AGM for the club was held on the 12th of january at the Old Spot Hotel. The New Committee that was elected for the club is as follows,

President: Ryan Bruin

Vice President: Brandon Bruin

Treasurer: Clinton Smith

Public Officer: Paul Kenny

Secretary: Mark Hicks

Committee members: Paul Davis, Jason Charlton and Nathan Kenny

I would like to say on behalf of Ryan Bruin and myself, thank you to all who took the time to make it to the meeting. Welcome to all the committee members and I hope that we can build this sport and look forward to a great 2011. I would also like to say that we have the first committee meeting on Friday the 21st of january at 8:30pm. The meeting will be held at a warehouse on the Corner of Shepherdson Road and Victoria Road in Parafield Gardens. All members are welcome to attend. Also at the AGM Mark Hicks talked about using the chat room on this website more often. I think this is a good Idea and that we should do it on a weekly bases just to discuss any ideas or issues to do with the club. If we could all agree on a time and day I will see if i can put it on the website for all to see.

Again, looking forward to a great 2011 see you all at the track.

2010 MRA Toy Run

A Big Hello and Thankyou to all the people who visted us at our stand at the the MRA Toy Run.
This was the first year that we had a display at the Toy Run and will be back there next year with bells on. Not only was this a huge event for the MRA and St Vincent De Pauls “Vinnies”, but it was a great success for us largely due to all of the people who stopped in and made inquiries.
I have all of the info, email addresses and phone numbers from all who filled out our mailing list forms and will notify all as soon as we have our dates from our tracks.They should be out by the end of January 2011.
One thing I can say for certain is that our first day next year will be a “Come and Try Day”due to the great response from all at the MRA toy Run.

The A.P.B.A has now been accepted, and is affiliated with motorcycle Australia. It was confirmed today as president I would like to thank rover for all his dealings with the MA. Well done mate great result. Thank you to Paul Kenny for all your hard work and participation in this project there are still a few things to sort out, but the next race meet will be under the MA banner. Also would like to thank hippy for all his help and advice with MA
